Wrocław University of Science and Technology – BUILD WITH STEEL Workshop for Students

Wrocław University of Science and Technology – on March 24, 2021, BUILD WITH STEEL workshops for students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering took place.

During the webinar, the presentation was given by representatives of the Wrocław University of Technology and the BUILD WITH STEEL partner companies. The workshop was opened by Wioleta Barcewicz (Warsaw University of Technology, Polish Chamber of Steelwork), who welcomed participants and presented the most important assumptions of the BUILD WITH STEEL Program.

Then, a presentation on corten steel was given by Piotr Kozioł (Wrocław University of Science and Technology). Later in the webinar, there were speeches by: Krzysztof Maciejewski (SIKA POLAND sp.z o.o.), who discussed in detail the series of ISO 12944 standards; Michał Januszewski (ArcelorMittal Commercial Long Polska sp.z o.o.), who talked about the use of sheet piles in civil engineering and hydraulic engineering, and Agnieszka Ostrowska (CONSTRUSOFT sp.z o.o.), who introduced the participants to the possibilities of Tekla Structures software.

At the end of the webinar, a discussion ensued among the participants in which the speakers also took part.
