On 22nd November there was a Warsaw University of Technology Students visitation at manufacturing plant of MOSTOSTAL WECHTA sp. z o.o.

MOSTOSTAL WECHTA – a company with traditions

The company MOSTOSTAL WECHTA was established as a government enterprise in 1972 and it was one of the first to introduce industrial methods of fabrication of steel structures. Since the very beginning manufacturing and erection of steel structures are the core activities of the company.

Company underwent a long way of development – starting from serial production of relatively simple industrial halls destined mostly for domestic market to the most complex structures and plants prosperously dispatched to the foreign markets.

Enterprise Wytwórnia Konstrukcji Stalowych MOSTOSTAL SŁUPCA was subject to general privatization and transformed into joined stock company in 1992. In this form the company MOSTOSTAL SŁUPCA S.A. functioned till 2009 in different proprietary structures.

In 2010-2012 the company run the activity as a limited joint stock partnership, since 1st January, 2014 – as a registered partnership and since 23rd March 2016 under the business name MOSTOSTAL WECHTA Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością spółka jawna.

Since its beginning the company is a one-plant enterprise with seat in Słupca on Poznańska Street 41.

The company is one of the founding members of the Polish Chamber of Steelwork.

At the manufacturing facility of MOSTOSTAL WECHTA students of the Warsaw University of Technology were led by: Wojciech Pazderski (Representative of the Quality Management Systems Director) and Tomasz Kasprzyk (Quality Laboratory Manager and Quality Control Auditor).

We thank the Management Board – Mr. Tomasz Radacz and Mr. Paweł Kucharski for the opportunity to organize workshops. We also thank Mr. Wojciech Pazderski and Mr. Tomasz Kasprzyk for their time.
