Site visit – 14th March 2019 r., Hotel Warsaw – Prudential

On March 14, 2019, in the renovated Prudential building, where the five-star Hotel Warsaw is located the site visit organized by Partners BUILD WITH STEEL took place.

Prudential is a notable skyscraper in Warsaw. Built between 1931 and 1933 in the Art Deco style, it served as a base for the British Prudential Insurance Company. It is located on Warsaw Uprising Square along Świętokrzyska Street.

A site visit took place in the place that has been a symbol of Warsaw for 90 years. Thanks to the steel construction, Prudential survived World War II. During the meeting the historical and contemporary dimensions of this building were discussed.

Designers and architects talked directly about the reconstruction and new appearance of Prudential which is still one of the most beautiful buildings in Warsaw.
